John Sprugel

John Sprugel joined Mort Meisner Associates as a talent representative based in Mort Meisner Associates's Kansas City, Missouri, office.  Sprugel, who brings with him a distinguished career in the news business, most recently served as News Director for the Ohio News Network.  He also worked as News Director at ABC affiliate WHOI-TV (Peoria); Assignment Manager at KTVK-TV (Phoenix) and WDAF-TV (Kansas City); and News Producer at KWQC-TV (Quad Cities).  In addition, he holds several Associated Press honors for investigative and live spot news reporting.  Most recently, he was awarded 1st place (documentary category) by Ohio Associated Press.  A graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, Sprugel represents on-air talent as well as producers and managers.
